Responsible for managing relationships with assigned clients to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and profitability of retirement plans through consultative service, proactive engagement, and technical expertise.
Responsibilities- Manage an assigned book of business through proactive meetings and touch points with advisors and clients, including annual plan reviews.
- Provide strategic and tactical consulting to support client goals for qualified retirement plans.
- Cross‑sell additional products and services using a consultative approach to deepen relationships and improve profitability.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for service‑related issues by identifying root causes and coordinating resolution through appropriate resources.
- Consult with clients and advisors on qualified plan design and interpret plan provisions to support desired outcomes.
- Consult on plan enhancements and upgrades, including conversion of legacy investment contracts to newer products.
- Communicate product, service, and investment enhancements, including new offerings and changes to existing solutions.
- Educate clients on company processes, procedures, systems, and technology used by participants and plan sponsors.
- Manage special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field or equivalent experience.
- FINRA Series 6, 63, and required life insurance licenses, or obtain within six months.
- Seven years of client management experience.
- Advanced knowledge of retirement programs and subject matter expertise in plan management, including technical, compliance, administration, investment, and participant solutions.
- Understanding of industry and competitive best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
- Research skill and attention to detail.
- Proficiency using MS Office tools.
Remote (Field/Travel). Frequent travel 25‑50% depending on location and regional assignment.
Compensation & BenefitsThe salary for this position generally ranges between $120,000 and $165,000 annually. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. Additionally, the position is eligible for an annual bonus of up to 10% based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the company's discretion. The position is also currently eligible for sales and/or performance incentives.
