Account / Relationship Management

Responsible for managing relationships with assigned clients to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and profitability of retirement plans through consultative service, proactive engagement, and technical expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Manage an assigned book of business through proactive meetings and touch points with advisors and clients, including annual plan reviews.
  • Provide strategic and tactical consulting to support client goals for qualified retirement plans.
  • Cross‑sell additional products and services using a consultative approach to deepen relationships and improve profitability.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for service‑related issues by identifying root causes and coordinating resolution through appropriate resources.
  • Consult with clients and advisors on qualified plan design and interpret plan provisions to support desired outcomes.
  • Consult on plan enhancements and upgrades, including conversion of legacy investment contracts to newer products.
  • Communicate product, service, and investment enhancements, including new offerings and changes to existing solutions.
  • Educate clients on company processes, procedures, systems, and technology used by participants and plan sponsors.
  • Manage special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field or equivalent experience.
  • FINRA Series 6, 63, and required life insurance licenses, or obtain within six months.
  • Seven years of client management experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of retirement programs and subject matter expertise in plan management, including technical, compliance, administration, investment, and participant solutions.
  • Understanding of industry and competitive best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
  • Research skill and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency using MS Office tools.
Working Conditions

Remote (Field/Travel). Frequent travel 25‑50% depending on location and regional assignment.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary for this position generally ranges between $120,000 and $165,000 annually. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. Additionally, the position is eligible for an annual bonus of up to 10% based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the company's discretion. The position is also currently eligible for sales and/or performance incentives.
