Pay Rate
: $22.40 + $2 Shift Differential per hour

Responsible for mixing resins or other glues used in the laminating process, preparing sheets for laminating, and operating the curtain coater, stacker, and laminating press. Operate the vacuum lift and perform inspections of laminated sheets.

• Mix resins or other glues for laminating, involving safe handling of chemicals such as resin, catalyst, and acetone; make precise and accurate measurements.
• Prepare sheets for laminating, including handling and checking caliper.
• Make careful preparations for laminating such as lining press cart with cardboard and plastic, and prepare curtain coater head, glue pump, etc.; clean all equipment after laminating.
• Operate the curtain coater, stacker, and laminating press, feeding sheets under the coater head, operating the glue pump and coater head, maintaining proper alignment in the stacker, and pushing the press cart into the press and operating (closing) the press.
• Handle hazardous wastes and manage environmental aspects/impacts; annual Resource Conservation and Recovery Act training is required.

• High School or Trade School Diploma.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Knowledge of SDS procedures for hazardous materials, completion of Haz Woper training, and ability or willingness to obtain a forklift license.
• Ability to meet all physical requirements specified in the Essential Function Job Analysis.
