Essential Functions

  • Set up and operate CNC machines (such as mills and lathes) to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Select and install cutting tools, attachments, and accessories, and adjust machine settings to maintain optimal performance and product quality.
  • Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and repairs on CNC equipment to minimize downtime and troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues.
  • Monitor machine operations, make adjustments, and suggest process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Participate in maintaining established inventory of materials and tooling requirements.
  • Perform and complete setup sheets and document process control for each setup.
  • Perform floor work/material handling duties.
  • Work with co‑workers in a safe, professional, and cooperative manner.
  • Maintain good attendance, flexibility in job assignments, adapt to changing business needs, and continually learn and apply new skills.
  • Meet minimum physical/mental demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Train others on knowledge and skills mastered.

General

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate Equipment
    :
    Operate 3‑ and 5‑axis vertical machining centers, Swiss lathes, mill‑turn machinery, band saw, sanders, computers, labeler, inspection equipment, basic handheld measuring tools, and other equipment as required.
  • Administrative
    :
    Follow work instructions, blueprints, labels, ISO procedures, inventory procedures, BOM, and general forms; possess knowledge of MRP and proficiency in blueprint reading; understand technical drawings and ability to make program edits; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Quality
    :
    Maintain paperwork accuracy; perform testing, recognize defects, and use measuring devices; follow work instructions; write clear and correct paperwork; prevent defects; follow procedures on defects; help identify root cause; meticulous attention to detail.
  • Productivity
    :
    Meet established performance standards; perform secondary operations within cycle time; participate in problem solving; handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Health & Safety
    :
    Follow safety rules, guidelines, and training; maintain cleanliness of workstation and housekeeping; wear required PPE; recognize hazards and report them; participate in safety initiatives; report accidents, injuries, or near misses; maintain a clean and safe environment.

    :
