A growing manufacturer of custom industrial equipment is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join its production team. This hands-on role is responsible for assembling complex mechanical and electrical systems used in specialized manufacturing equipment shipped to customers worldwide.

Job Details
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, work orders, and engineering documentation.
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components into complete machine systems.
- Install motors, sensors, fixtures, pneumatic components, power supplies, and other machine hardware.
- Build and wire electrical panels according to engineering specifications.
- Verify component dimensions and quality using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment to complete assembly tasks.
- Perform light fabrication and machine work as needed to support assembly operations.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, and other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in machine assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, machining, or related industrial environments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Working knowledge of electrical controls, machine wiring, and mechanical assembly practices.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments and common shop tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for production tracking and documentation.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and working with hand tools throughout the shift.
