MMG machine operators produce a variety of precision metal parts primarily from Aluminum, Steel, Brass, and Copper, using computer numerically-controlled (CNC) machine tools such as Vertical and Horizontal Milling Machines as well as Conventional, Multi-Op and Swiss Style Lathes.

• Review blueprints and/or written specifications for a job
• Write programs and apply machine tool math
• Understand and monitor the feed rate and speed of machine
• Set‑up controls and make the cuts to produce machined parts
• Ensure machine is working properly through standard preventative maintenance procedures, and that it is properly feeding, cutting, cooling and lubricating part while in operation
• Utilize specialized inspection tools to check tolerances
• Understand and maintain QC procedures
• Work within a visual Lean Manufacturing Environment/System; maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Understand and follow all ISO procedures
• Follow procedures and execute tasks assigned by Team Leader
• Comply with ALL Company code of conduct, safety and procedural rules and regulations

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Tasks require standing and walking 100% of the time; lifting, reaching, and repetitive motion
• Tasks require use of hand tools and power tools
• Tasks require clear close vision for inspection of parts
• Tasks require lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must work in a safe and reliable manner
• Must be able to work as a team player

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to stand, sit, bend and kneel without difficulty
• Ability to repeatedly lift/pull/push 50lbs
• Exposure to loud noises
• Working in the presence of forklift trucks and other manufacturing machinery
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently

Hourly Wage: $18‑$38.33
