Mack Molding – Shipper/Receiver (Cavendish, VT)

Mack Molding is seeking a Shipper/Receiver for its Cavendish, Vermont Plant.

• Organize and conduct movement of product, work-in-process, finished goods, and materials for maximum efficiency; wrap product for shipment; operate material handling equipment such as hand jacks and motorized forklifts; move palletized material with hand or motorized truck including loading and unloading trucks and moving material within the plant.
• Perform administrative responsibilities including maintaining accurate records of material transfers from work-in-process to finished goods, operating scales accurately, using computer skills to produce shipping and receiving reports, preparing packing slips, bills of lading, arranging orders and communicating with transportation suppliers regarding shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring effective communication and information flow between departments and shifts, and using the computer system to accurately track inventory transactions and coordinate shipping and receiving functions.

• Previous similar experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Working knowledge of Mack Molding Company’s manufacturing environment and material flow
• Ability to use computers
• High school reading and math skills or equivalent
• Inventory tracking and organization skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules and overtime
