Position Summary

The Manufacturing Cutter cuts fabric and prepares patterns that support our stitching team’s daily production. This hands‑on position requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain efficient production flow.

Responsibilities
  • Cut wool and other materials to production specifications.
  • Lay out fabric to maximize yield and minimize waste.
  • Prepare cut bundles for stitchers.
  • Create, adjust, and maintain patterns.
  • Inspect fabric for defects before cutting.
  • Maintain cutting equipment.
  • Work with design and production on new styles, fit, and pattern grading.
  • Track material usage and production counts.
Qualifications
  • Experience with fabric cutting, pattern making, or garment construction (apparel manufacturing preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read patterns and spec sheets.
  • Experience using manual or powered cutting equipment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift fabric bolts.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to meet production demands.
  • Wool or heavyweight textile experience is a plus.
