Experienced Production Operator

Butternut Mountain Farm seeks an Experienced Production Operator to support year-round maple syrup packaging in our Vermont manufacturing facility. In this hands-on role, you will operate and monitor bottling and packaging equipment, perform routine quality checks, and follow strict food safety and sanitation standards. You'll handle materials, assist with line changeovers, and document production accurately. Working in a close-knit, values-driven team, you'll help ensure consistent, high-quality maple products reach customers while building skills in food production and operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust maple syrup bottling and packaging equipment safely
• Perform routine quality checks on packaging, labeling, and product integrity
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and GMP standards in all work areas
• Complete production logs and maintain accurate, legible records
• Assist with line changeovers, setup, and basic equipment troubleshooting
• Handle materials, load supplies, and palletize finished goods
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and schedules
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and quality deviations promptly
