Production Support Technician

Pay: $26.00
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6am-3:30pm

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Support Technician to help bridge the gap between Engineering and Manufacturing. In this role, you will ensure production jobs are accurately prepared, released, and supported throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate is technically minded, organized, and motivated to contribute to a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and load CAD files into fabrication equipment, including laser, punch, and press brake machines.
Verify machine programs and provide basic troubleshooting support to ensure efficient production.
Conduct test runs and assist with production data collection, including time studies and process improvement initiatives.
Create, print, organize, and distribute job packets, including work orders, engineering drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs).
Release, schedule, and prioritize production orders within the ERP system (Infor CSI).
Maintain accuracy of engineering documentation and ensure all engineering changes are properly implemented.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Planning teams to support workflow and on-time delivery objectives.

Qualifications

Experience using Solid Works is required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Effective problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn new skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production setting.
