Bale Room Technician

TSG - The Sheridan Group seeks a Bale Room Technician to support production of client-facing print and advocacy materials. In this hands-on role, you will operate and monitor baling and material-handling equipment, prepare and stage printed and packaging materials, and ensure accurate sorting, bundling, and outbound preparation. You will track inventory, follow strict safety and quality procedures, and keep detailed production records.

Working closely with a small, collaborative team, you'll help maintain a clean, efficient workspace while meeting tight deadlines for high-impact public affairs and communications campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor baling and material-handling equipment
• Sort, bundle, and stage printed and packaging materials
• Maintain accurate inventory and production logs
• Inspect output for quality and address basic equipment issues
• Follow safety, housekeeping, and waste-reduction procedures
• Coordinate with production and account teams to meet deadlines
• Load, label, and prepare outbound materials for shipment
• Assist with basic equipment cleaning and preventative upkeep
