Required Skills:

• Minimum of 6 months of corrections nursing experience
• Valid RN license in Vermont
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in forensic or psychiatric healthcare settings
• CPR certification or other relevant healthcare certifications
• Knowledge of correctional healthcare protocols and procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Vermont
• At least six months of corrections experience preferred
• Experience working in secure facilities or with incarcerated populations a plus

Other Requirements:

• Must be a local candidate or willing to relocate within Vermont
• Availability to start approximately two weeks after offer acceptance
• Flexible with a focus on night shift hours (3x12 nights)
