Overview

Central Vermont Medical Center is a community-based hospital in Berlin, VT. Our Medical/Surgical Unit is comprised of two units: 2 South (42 beds) and 2 North (9 beds). We are a fast-paced work environment with a diverse patient population, including acute management of chronic disease/illness, orthopedic surgery, and general surgery. As a nurse on our floor, you will be immersed in a culture that fosters teamwork, growth, and excellence in patient care.

You will work alongside experienced registered nurses, new graduate registered nurses, licensed nursing assistants, physicians, and other healthcare professionals who are committed to a supportive and cohesive work environment. We value open communication, respect, and teamwork, creating a positive atmosphere for both personal and professional growth.

The LPN provides nursing care to patients and functions within the limits of the Vermont Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Nursing Standards of Practice, and Administrative and Nursing Department policies and procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of CVMC/Woodridge and Nursing department.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program with current LPN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
