This travel nurse (ICU RN / Critical Care RN) opportunity offers meaningful clinical experience in a scenic New England town with easy access to outdoor recreation.

- Unit: ICU – Critical Care (14 beds)
- Assignment Duration: 20 weeks (March 30, 2026 – August 16, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (critical care night shift)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2200-$2320/week
- Employment Type: Travel (Travel Nurse / Travel RN)
- Orientation: 2 days
- Documentation System: EPIC (required within past 2 years)
- Medication System: Pyxis
- Weekend/Holiday Requirements: As needed by unit
- Floating: Required (to Med Surg and ER as needed)
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum 3 years of ICU / critical care experience
- Active RN license
- AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to start
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Preferred: CCRN (Critical Care RN) and AHA PALS certifications
- Ability to float to Med Surg and ER units as needed
- Reliable personal or rental transportation (public transportation not accessible)
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, alcohol withdrawal, overdose, CHF, dysrhythmias, NSTEMI/unstable angina, COVID, PE, GI bleed, and more
- Manage and monitor ventilators, IV infusion pumps, bedside monitors, enteral feeding pumps, and other specialty ICU equipment
- Perform unit-specific critical care procedures: medication titration, assist with cardioversion, bronchoscopies, conscious/moderate sedation, intubation/extubation, rapid sequence intubation, telemetry interpretation, phlebotomy, IV therapy, blood administration, post-mortem care, chest tube and central line management, wound care, NG tube placement/management, TPN administration
- Respond to rapid response calls, code blues, and OB critical response hospital-wide
- Float to Med Surg or ER as needed, including caring for ICU-level patients boarding in the ED or full Med Surg assignments
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary critical care team including respiratory therapy, anesthesia, and advanced practice providers
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC and adhere to infection prevention protocols and facility dress code
