As a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in a travel role, you'll work closely with interdisciplinary teams and a variety of patient populations, sharpening your adaptability and deepening your skills in patient-centered care. This assignment provides the flexibility to explore nearby lakes, scenic hiking trails, and cozy small-town gems during your downtime-giving you plenty of opportunities for adventure and relaxation.
Schedule/Hours:
- Variable shifts with flexible scheduling
- Valid RN license, eligible for Vermont practice
- Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in dynamic and collaborative healthcare environments
- Provide comprehensive care to diverse adult and geriatric patient populations
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform wound care as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and allied professionals for optimal care outcomes
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge processes
- Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment
