Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our long-term care team. As an integral part of our healthcare facility, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our residents and ensuring their well-being. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and symptom management.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
  • Regularly assess residents' conditions and respond promptly to any changes, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident assessments, care provided, and progress towards goals in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while adhering to medication safety protocols.
  • Educate residents and their families about health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in long-term care.
  • Offer emotional support to residents and their families, fostering a compassionate and empathetic environment.
  • Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies, including initiating CPR and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Qualifications
    • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice.
    • Previous experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
      Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required depending on facility policy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
