Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Nights

St. Johnsbury, VT

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced rural Emergency Department setting
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust the nursing care process as needed to ensure optimal care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health team members to coordinate medical and nursing management
• Consult with other specialties as required to support comprehensive patient care
• Serve as a proactive team member in a nine-bed ED serving over 15,000 patients annually

• Current Vermont RN license or compact multi-state RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and learn quickly in a dynamic environment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR or demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• Prior experience in a rural or critical access hospital setting

• Work in a growing Emergency Department currently undergoing expansion, offering a dynamic and evolving clinical environment
