Requirements

Active RN License
Degree from an accredited nursing program
BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Duties / Responsibilities

Emergency Room registered nurses (RN) provide care for patients with a variety of illnesses or traumas requiring emergency attention, recognizing and treating life‑threatening conditions.

Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
Apply knowledge of general and specific health issues due to the broad range of urgent medical conditions.
Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.
