Job DescriptionThe Rehabilitation Medical‑Surgical Registered Nurse combines medical‑surgical nursing with intensive rehabilitation, focusing on patients recovering from surgery, serious illness, or injury. The role aims to restore function and independence through therapies and specialized medical/nursing care, emphasizing the improvement of quality of life by treating the whole person.
Responsibilities- Provide total nursing care for patients.
- Participate in patient and family teaching.
- Coordinate care with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.
- Possibly work as a backup Charge Nurse.
- Float between Acute Rehab and Med‑Surg as needed.
- 2 years of recent Medical‑Surgical Rehab experience.
- Charge RN experience required.
- Previous travel experience (at least 3 months) is required.
- BSN - Bachelor of Science in Nursing strongly preferred.
- Current New Hampshire RN license or Compact must be uploaded with profile.
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Active American Heart Association ACLS certification.
