Job Overview

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse (RN) to join its home health visit teams in Windsor, Vermont and other Vermont counties.

  Weekly base pay (approximately $60‑65 per point) with bonus opportunities up to $10,000, subject to qualifications and negotiations.

• Use strong head‑to‑toe assessment skills to identify subtle changes in patient condition.
• Utilize experience with acute and post‑acute care (CHF, COPD, wound care, IV therapy, post‑surgical care).
• Triage and manage urgent clinical situations independently in the home setting.
• Perform medication reconciliation, teaching, and safety monitoring.
• Perform comprehensive wound assessment, care, and documentation.
• Support a multidisciplinary team to provide skilled nursing and rehabilitative care, enabling clients to remain at home.

• Ability to work independently while knowing when to elevate concerns.
• Comfortable making real‑time clinical decisions without immediate on‑site support.
• Strong problem‑solving skills in unpredictable home environments.
• Ability to manage a dynamic visit schedule and prioritize urgent visits.
• Efficient with point‑of‑care documentation and technology.
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining productivity expectations.
• Comfortable providing care in varied home environments.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing patient needs and schedules.
• Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and respect for patient autonomy.

• Current nursing license in good standing in Vermont.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program.
• At least one year of recent hands‑on medical experience within the past two years with adult/geriatric populations in acute care, emergency department, home health, hospice, ICU, med‑surg, sub‑acute care, or rehab units.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record documentation.
• Strong communication and teaching skills.
