Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Med-Surg RN, providing comprehensive care in a 20-bed medical-surgical unit.
Responsibilities Include- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for diverse populations including medical, surgical, pediatric, outpatient, observation, and swing bed patients
- Ensuring safety through accurate medication administration, IV therapy, equipment use, and adherence to protocols
- Educating patients and families with individualized plans, coordinating discharge, and facilitating continuity of care
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, mentoring new staff, and contributing to unit improvements
- Graduate of an approved RN program; BSN preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
- Current RN license and BLS certification
- Preferred certifications:
Med/Surg Nursing, ACLS, and PALS (required within 1 year of hire)
