Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Deliver age-specific, direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in alignment with established Standards of Patient Care
- Provide nursing care in accordance with Medical Surgical and Telemetry specialty-specific standards
- Assume leadership responsibilities on the unit, including appropriate delegation of tasks to other levels of staff
- Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of healthcare
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Vermont
- Active ACLS certification required prior to contract start date
- Active BLS certification required prior to contract start date
- Active PALS or ENPC certification required prior to contract start date
- Active de-escalation training required prior to contract start date; a booked course at time of Clinical Orientation is acceptable if not yet completed
- Prior experience in a Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing setting
- Familiarity with nursing leadership responsibilities and multi-level staff delegation
