Emergency Department Nurse

Springfield Hospital's Emergency Department, located at 25 Ridgewood Road in Springfield, VT, is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Upon arrival, unless your condition requires being seen by a Doctor or Physician's Assistant immediately, you will be promptly screened by an Emergency Department Nurse to determine the severity of your condition and the appropriate course of treatment.

Our Emergency Department at Springfield Hospital is fully staffed around the clock and serves approximately 14,000 patient visits each year.

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified  REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 10 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

Local travelers (those who reside within 50 miles of facility) are not eligible for this need.

• 2+ years of current ED experience in a hospital setting - [Required]
• 3 months MINIMUM travel experience [preferred]
• Bachelor Degree - [preferred]
• Perm address must be on profile
• Any/All RTO must be included in traveler profile
• ALL CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED. NON-NEGOTIABLE
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
• Perm address must be included in profile
• Any/All RTO must be included in profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer. Please obtain this information prior to submittal.
