RN (IPCU) - Premium Per Diem Days

Description

• Provide nursing care to patients following the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, within the framework of the Department of Nursing, and in conjunction with Specialty-Specific Standards of Patient Care.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to make nursing judgments and assumes responsibilities for nursing care and documentation to include delegation of work to other levels of employees.
• Ensure practice meets compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.

Minimum of three 12-hour shifts per week. This is a day shift position.

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
• Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• De-escalation Training
• Basic Dysrhythmia
• Telemetry certification or equivalent,
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS),
• De-escalation training (Required completion at first course offering after hire).
• Six (6) months of nursing experience is desirable for specialty areas.
• Nursing Care Knowledge through the lifespan.
• Effective people skills and communication.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office products.
• Proficiency in the use of technology in care delivery.
• Progressive Care Certification (preferred)
• Medical Surgical Certification (preferred)

Salary Range: The Premium Per Diem role is $65.00 per hour and is not eligible for differential pay (i.e.,  per diem ,  shift ,  weekend  or  holiday ).
