Registered Nurse
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with recent Medical Surgical and Telemetry experience to join a 25-bed critical access hospital. This role involves providing patient-centered care, with occasional shifts on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) requiring drip administration expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Administer intravenous therapy, including insulin, emolol, and sodium drips, following strict protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Float to various inpatient units within scope of practice as needed.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Vermont RN license or valid Compact license.
- Have current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience.
- Show documented experience with drip therapy administration.
- Have prior travel nursing experience preferred.
- Be willing to work in a small critical access setting and float across units.
