Registered Nurse – Infusion

Infusion RN Opportunity

Seeking experienced Infusion RN travelers to provide patient-centered infusion therapy at a busy community hospital. This position involves delivering clinical care, coordinating operational tasks, and ensuring compliance within the infusion center setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer IV medications and therapies following established standards, monitoring patient responses to ensure safety and comfort.
• Manage scheduling, prior authorizations, and clinical order reviews to optimize infusion center operations.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, assess understanding, and document teaching efforts accurately.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all clinical activities in electronic health records in compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, payers, and care teams to facilitate coordinated patient care.
• Support administrative workflows such as appointment scheduling, payer communications, and clinical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved RN nursing program.
• Minimum of two years RN experience, with one year in acute care preferred.
• BSN degree required.
• Current Vermont or multi-state RN license.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Infusion and port experience required; preferred certifications include CRNI.
