Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency Room
The Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Upon arrival, unless immediate attention is required, patients will be screened by an Emergency Department Nurse. This screening determines the severity of the condition and the appropriate course of treatment. The Emergency Department is fully staffed around the clock and serves approximately 14,000 patient visits each year.
Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified when submitting your profile. Requests for time off after submission or during interviews will not be approved. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted. It is better to request less time off. All travelers must provide contact information and set up voicemail on their phones. Travelers without voicemail will be redirected.
Travelers may not take all holidays off. Travelers must work two blocks during specified holiday periods. Mandatory work blocks include Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day. No non-billable orientation hours are included. Every other weekend and holiday availability is required if needed. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.
No scheduling requests will be approved after submission. Profile requirements include a work history, skills checklist current to one year, a supervisory signed reference from the past two years of employment, and all certifications uploaded with the profile. Vehicles are required for this position. Permanent address must be included in the profile. All requested time off must be included when submitting the profile.
