American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position on night shift, requiring a VT or compact RN license and multiple emergency care certifications.

• Emergency Department setting within a critical access hospital
• Night shift with varied scheduling
• 13-week assignment length

• Active VT or compact RN license required upon acceptance
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS or ENPC certification required
• Current TNCC certification required
• Current NRP certification required
• De-escalation training required
• If any required certifications are not active prior to the start date, a renewal plan must be in place
• No minimum years of experience required

• Deliver age-specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process within Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and specialty-specific standards
• Assume leadership responsibilities including delegation of work to other levels of staff
• Ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing health care delivery
