Emergency Room Nurse
This position requires 3 twelve-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Flexibility is essential as you may be asked to work some day shifts or mid-shifts, including weekends.
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Nurse to join our small rural critical access facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment while working nights.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patient conditions in the emergency room.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN license in the state.
- Previous experience in an emergency room or acute care setting is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
