Location: Saint Johnsbury
Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical
Night shift 7pm - 7am, three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.
Contract length: 13 weeks, guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.
Current RN licensure in the state.
BLS certification (American Heart Association).
ACLS certification.
Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience.
Experience with Meditech preferred.
Coordinate exceptional patient care for adult and occasional pediatric patients.
Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, and swing bed care.
Utilize the Nursing Process for critical decision-making.
Ensure holistic care addressing age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
Accountable to the Unit Director and work closely with clinical leadership.
Flu shot is required; no exceptions. Credentialing requirements must be completed five business days before the start date. Reliable personal transportation is essential as public transportation is not available in the area.
