Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and be at the forefront of coordinating exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients. Your expertise will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care in the dynamic general Med/Surg unit. Collaborate with a talented group of professionals and lead them to meet the unique needs of our diverse patient population, all while utilizing the innovative Nursing Process to make critical decisions.

We prioritize holistic care, ensuring that patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs are met with compassion and proficiency. You will be accountable to the Unit Director and work closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor during your shift, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. To join our team, you must have at least 3 years of acute care experience, with preference given to candidates with Meditech experience.

A current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure, BLS (American Heart Association), and ACLS certification are  the heart of Vermont's historic Northeast Kingdom, NVRH is a cherished, 25-bed, independent, nonprofit critical access hospital. NVRH is located in a beautiful rural community. Were happy to provide a list of local housing resources; however, travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. Please note that public transportation and rideshare services are not available in our area, so reliable personal transportation is essential. We recommend arranging housing in advance and bringing a vehicle for your stay. We understand the importance of a seamless onboarding process, so we ask that all required credentials be uploaded five business days before your start date.

This is NOT a pediatric floor but may occasionally have a pediatric patient - DO NOT SUBMIT PEDI ONLY RNs.Please note credentialing requirements; the flu shot is required, no exceptions.
