As a Mountain Activities Attendant, you will provide Epic guest service while guiding guests through alpine adventures such as Mountain Coasters, Snow Tubing, Lift Operations, Surface Lift Operations, and Ticket Scanning. You will interact with guests and fellow employees from around the world and engage in a variety of guest service outlets and activities.

Provide a safe experience and assist youngest guests as they navigate adventures. - Serve Others:
Operate activities such as Mountain Coaster, Alpine Slide, Adventure Zone, Trampolines, Zip Lines, Ropes Courses, and others; answer questions and help guests navigate experiences. - Do Right:
Engage with guests, receive feedback and special requests, provide on-spot resolutions, and verify tickets. - Drive Value:
Advocate for Vail Resorts and high-quality service. - Do Good:
Help keep the mountain clean and welcoming. - Be Inclusive:
Interact with guests of varying experience levels and backgrounds. - Stay Flexible:
Perform a range of tasks around the mountain; each day offers new adventure. - Other duties as assigned.
- Prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions for long periods.
- Sturdy: able to stand for long periods.
- Nimble: able to twist, turn, pull, push, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Friendly: able to converse clearly with guests of various backgrounds, abilities, and ages.
- Background check required.
- Reliable: able to work unsupervised occasionally; must have reliable transportation and arrive on time.
A Mountain Activities Attendant is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and various roles to support the one resort mentality. Possible areas of work include:
- Mountain Activities
- Retail Rental Operations
- Food and Beverage Support
- Ticket sales or scanning
- Lift Operations
- Base Area Operations
The expected pay range is $20/hr compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience and performance.
