Pay or shift range: $93,000 USD to $103,000 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job‑related reasons.

• Provide EHS leadership, guidance, resources, and support for the Cabot.
• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs that promote safe work practices and employee engagement.
• Lead safety initiatives that foster a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement mindset.
• Conduct new hire safety orientation and deliver required annual training in accordance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company requirements.
• Partner with leaders and employees to identify, evaluate, and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Serve as the primary resource and champion for Safety Committees, Emergency Response Teams, and site leadership.
• Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain all required EHS documentation, permits, records, and regulatory reports.
• Conduct facility inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate equipment, processes, and work environments for safety and ergonomic improvements.
• Recommend and implement appropriate engineering controls, administrative controls, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Track, analyze, and report EHS performance metrics, trends, and key performance indicators.
• Coordinate and support internal and external compliance audits and regulatory inspections.
• Assist with workers’ compensation case management, return‑to‑work programs, and injury prevention initiatives.
• Monitor changes in EHS regulations and ensure ongoing compliance across both campuses.
• Support sustainability and environmental compliance initiatives, including waste management and environmental reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and human resources teams to support business objectives and employee well‑being.

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead EHS programs and influence safety performance at all levels of an organization.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and EHS reporting systems.
• Ability to travel regularly between the Cabot and Montpelier campuses.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

• Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), ASP (Associate Safety Professional), CHMM, or equivalent.
• Experience in food manufacturing, dairy processing, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading regulatory audits, environmental compliance programs, and safety management systems.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and behavior‑based safety programs.
