Quality Technician
Location:
St. Johnsbury, VT Pay: $18-$25/hour DOE
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire Start Your Career in Quality! We're looking for a Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 6 months-2 years of manufacturing or quality experience who wants to build their skills and grow their career in quality. You'll work hands-on with parts, drawings, and inspection equipment while learning how to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
** Must know how to read blueprints!
** What You'll Do
* Inspect incoming materials, parts in production, and finished products
* Read and follow manufacturing drawings and specifications
* Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools
* Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
* Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation
* Identify and communicate quality issues to the team
* Assist with basic problem-solving and continuous improvement
* Work with production team members to maintain quality standards
* Help keep inspection equipment accurate and properly maintained
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area What We're Looking For
* 6 months-2 years of manufacturing or quality experience preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to read basic blueprints/drawings
* Comfortable using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
* Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel
* Good attention to detail and basic math skills
* Reliable, willing to learn, and comfortable working as part of a team Don't have experience with everything listed? That's okay!
