• The Dietary Staff at Valley Vista is responsible for supporting the dietary needs of patients by assisting with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and cafeteria areas. The role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive nutritious and timely meals in a hygienic environment.

• Assist with food preparation according to dietary guidelines and standards.
• Serve daily meals to patients, ensuring they are provided on time and according to dietary requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen areas and the cafeteria to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Adhere to strict schedules to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff, demonstrating good verbal and written communication skills.
• Exhibit a personable and friendly demeanor while interacting with patients and colleagues.
• Uphold good hygienic practices while handling food and interacting with patients.

• High school diploma or GED

• Experience in food preparation and service
• Experience in maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and cafeteria areas

• 1 year of experience in a kitchen or the food industry

• Ability to assist in food preparation and serve meals to patients
• Ability to maintain cleanliness in kitchen and cafeteria areas
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies

• Ability to maintain good hygienic practices while handling food and patients
• Ability to stick to strict schedules, ensuring food is prepared early and patients are fed on time
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Personable and friendly demeanor
