Job Summary
Our General Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, maximizing profitability, and ensuring a high level of customer service and store appearance.
Responsibilities- Maximize store profitability through expense management, revenue optimization, and effective labor allocation.
- Oversee staff hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Maintain store appearance and cleanliness to brand standards.
- Respond to guest complaints or inquiries and solicit guest feedback.
- Produce plans to consistently meet guest expectations.
- Allocate resources and delegate work to maintain operational efficiency.
- Conduct all aspects of management training and supervise associate skill proficiency.
- Create an inclusive store atmosphere that encourages diversity and mutual respect.
- Support associates and management through career development, performance appraisals, and corrective action when needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety, service, and operational policies and procedures.
- Lead change initiatives and educate associates on their purpose.
- Monitor financial metrics, analyze income statements, and execute merchandise plans to achieve profitability.
- Manage cash handling, inventory control, and shortages/overages investigations.
- Perform competitive analysis, audits, and corrective actions.
- Build relationships with community partners.
- Available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Leadership experience in a fast‑paced retail, food service, or fuel environment.
- Experience selecting, training, and managing staff.
- Experience with labor allocation, sales building, scheduling, and expense management.
- Experience coaching and developing team members with effective leadership skills.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, handle, reach, push buttons, bend, crouch, kneel, squat, and stoop repetitively throughout a shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Pay Range: $45,000.00 – $81,972.00. The final amount offered is based on experience, skills, and location. The company reserves the right to adjust base salary at any time.
