Overview
This is a permanent part‑time role with base hours averaging 2-5 hours per week at each store, plus additional 1–2 hours for special projects, especially January through June. Full scheduling details will be discussed during the interview.
As a Scan Scape Retail Scan Associate, you will visit a selected group of stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and throughout aisles, including end caps. The data collected is analyzed to improve sales performance for the store and retailer.

- Grocery – HARDWICK VT 05843 – Sunday through Thursday
Perform weekly in‑store data collection at assigned retailers for 52 weeks a year, including holidays.
- Scan barcodes throughout the store using a downloadable app.
- Record quantities for approximately 45% of scanned products.
- Complete display scanning of the entire store each week, often taking several hours.
- Execute custom projects that may add 1–2 additional hours per store weekly, focusing on main stocking locations.
- Adhere to weekly deadlines to ensure timely data delivery to clients.
- Maintain high accuracy and quality of data, demonstrating independence and reliability.
- Minimum age 18 with a valid driver’s license.
- Reliable vehicle with state‑required auto insurance.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend or stoop as needed.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Deadline‑driven self‑starter.
- Reliable Wi‑Fi access.
- Tech savvy with a smartphone.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
