Position Summary

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When no manager or operations supervisor is on site, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes all opening and closing procedures.

• Management – Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities; communicate information effectively with store management and crews.
• Customer Service – Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints; promote the CVS customer service culture; handle all customer relations issues per company policy; maintain confidentiality.
• Merchandise & Presentation – Price merchandise, stock shelves, execute displays, signs, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise; reset departments following POGs.

• Deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime, and respond to urgent store issues.

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

• Anticipated weekly hours: 29 (part‑time).
• Pay range: $18.00 – $27.00 per hour.
