Currently, Staff Bright has a great Technical Field Sales Representative opportunity with a manufacturing company in Georgia. We are seeking a motivated and energetic sales professional to join the locomotive and rail division. The ideal candidate will have sales experience in industrial battery systems, power electronics, or locomotive power systems.
This is a remote role with travel up to 50%. Travel will be regional through Georgia, Florida, and Texas. This travel includes visits to customers, trade shows, plant tours, etc.
What You Will Be Doing- Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers within the locomotive and rail sector
- Supporting senior sales staff in identifying business opportunities and developing account strategies
- Conducting sales calls, product presentations, and customer visits
- Collaborating with internal manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Tracking sales metrics, preparing reports, and contributing to market analysis
- Attending industry events and representing the brand and products
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree strongly preferred
- 1-5 years in technical sales in battery systems, power electronics, or energy storage
- Knowledge of battery management systems (BMS), thermal management, cell design, and pack integration
- Experience with sales forecasting, CRM (Salesforce/Bullhorn/Hub Spot)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to learn technical products and explain them clearly to customers
