Summary of RoleGlobal Foundries Fab 9 is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chemistry Laboratory Technician (Complex Analysis Technician) to join our team in Essex Junction, Vermont. The position requires proficiency in various chemistry analysis lab techniques and is scheduled for a 5x2 shift.
Responsibilities- Perform a large variety of wet chemical analyses and preparation of analytical standard and sample solutions.
- Independently operate instruments such as UV/Vis, ICP‑OES, ion chromatography, HPLC, GC‑MS, GC‑FID.
- Conduct basic maintenance on a diverse set of instruments and manage chemical and consumable ordering.
- Dispose of chemical waste in accordance with safety regulations.
- Execute inorganic analyses, including titrations and general instrument maintenance.
- Adopt safe laboratory practices while supporting Environmental, Health, Safety and Security programs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and work independently when required.
- Use Microsoft Suite for documentation and data analysis.
- Associate’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum of two years of laboratory experience with hazardous substances.
- Fluent in written and verbal English.
- Physical capacity to follow laboratory work and safety procedures.
- Ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals and perform analytical procedures.
- Basic mathematical skills for simple calculations.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET level U.S. Government security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related discipline, or equivalent military training/experience.
- Prior experience working in a laboratory environment.
$48,200.00 – $83,200.00 (determined based on qualifications, experience and location).
