Duties- Enforce laws and regulations related to criminal activity, immigration, animal care, and loss prevention to protect the community and uphold justice.
- Conduct thorough criminal investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing detailed reports.
- Perform surveillance operations using advanced techniques to monitor suspicious activities and prevent crimes.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, administer first aid or CPR when necessary, and coordinate with emergency responders.
- Manage conflict situations effectively through conflict management skills, ensuring safety for all parties involved.
- Patrol designated areas regularly using driving skills to deter unlawful activities and ensure security.
- Handle animals safely during incidents involving animal control or animal-related law enforcement cases.
- Write clear, comprehensive reports documenting incidents, investigations, and actions taken for legal and departmental records.
- Assist in security operations at various events or locations to prevent thefts or disturbances.
- Apply knowledge of law enforcement procedures, including immigration law enforcement and loss prevention strategies.
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability in report writing with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in driving patrol vehicles safely over long shifts while maintaining vigilance.
- Knowledge of criminal investigation techniques and surveillance methods.
- Skills in conflict management to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Experience with animal handling in professional settings or during law enforcement activities involving animals.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures such as CPR to provide immediate assistance when needed.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and uphold departmental standards under pressure.
- Understanding of immigration laws relevant to law enforcement duties is a plus.
