Part-Time College Campus Security Officer

Securitas is hiring Part-Time College Campus Security Officers to help protect students, staff, and facilities in a dynamic academic environment. In this role, you will conduct campus patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to the college community. Responsibilities include enforcing campus policies, observing and reporting safety concerns, writing clear incident reports, and working closely with campus staff and public safety partners.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus buildings, residence halls, and grounds to deter crime and promote safety
• Monitor access points, check IDs/badges, and enforce campus security policies
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and incidents, escalating when needed
• Observe, document, and report safety or security hazards and suspicious activity
• Write clear incident and daily activity reports using company systems
• Provide directions, assistance, and high-quality customer service to students, staff, and visitors
• Coordinate with campus public safety, law enforcement, and emergency responders as required
• Follow post orders and Securitas procedures, including emergency and evacuation protocols
