Location: St Johnsbury

Design Solutions and Integration (DSI) is an employee‑owned company that delivers automation, electrical, and mechanical services to major energy sector partners in the United States. Since 2001, DSI has supported oil‑field operations with reliable, safety‑focused solutions that ensure seamless project execution.

Position Location:

Bakken Basin oil fields, Stanley, North Dakota. Focus:
Installation of variable‑frequency drives (VFDs) and various electrical equipment.

We are looking for self‑motivated, assertive, and dependable individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment.

As a Journeyman Electrician with DSI, your responsibilities include: configuring and wiring AC/DC controllers and VFDs; using electrical schematics to design, bend, and fill conduit in accordance with code specifications. The role is outdoors.

Requirements
  • Must hold a North Dakota Journeyman License or one from a reciprocating state.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Strong commitment to teamwork, safety, and quality.
  • Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment.

Qualifications must include an Electrical Journeyman License from one of the following states:
Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming.

Compensation ranges from $44 to $50 per hour, with a daily per diem of $115. The typical schedule is 10‑hour days, 6 days a week, but may adjust to 12‑hour days, 7 days a week depending on workload.
