Job SummaryThe Maintenance Tech troubleshoots, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance at multiple NOTCH service sites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Monitor building areas and mechanical systems through a Web base system. Provide preventive and corrective maintenance on systems.
- Perform repairs, including but not limited to mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, minor carpentry, masonry, and painting.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine maintenance.
- Plan and carry out seasonal tasks (mowing, shoveling, etc.)
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with people at all levels internally and externally.
- Assist in the installation of Heat Pumps, HVAC systems and other systems, and conduct repairs if necessary.
- Ability to use computer and email.
- Ability to interpret documents and building plans.
- Aptitude to handle multiple projects.
- Ability to function as a team member in a collaborative environment.
- Individual must be a self-starter.
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours and the ability to adjust priorities on short notice.
High School Diploma or equivalent;
Technical school certifications and/or training preferred
Prior property maintenance experience and working knowledge of grounds maintenance, basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
Certificate/LicenseValid Vermont driver's license and good driving record
