JOB SUMMARY The Maintenance Tech troubleshoots, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance at multiple NOTCH service sites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Monitor building areas and mechanical systems through a Web base system. Provide preventive and corrective maintenance on systems.

Perform repairs, including but not limited to mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, minor carpentry, masonry, and painting.

Perform preventive maintenance and routine maintenance.

Plan and carry out seasonal tasks (mowing, Shoveling, etc.)Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with people at all levels internally and externally.

Assist in the installation of Heat Pumps, HVAC systems and other systems, and conduct repairs if necessary.

Ability to use computer and email.

Ability to interpret documents and building plans.

Aptitude to handle multiple projects.

Ability to function as a team member in a collaborative environment.

Individual must be a self-starter.

Flexibility to work a variety of hours and the ability to adjust priorities on short notice.

EDUCATION High School Diploma or equivalent;
Technical school certifications and/or training preferredEXPERIENCEPrior property maintenance experience and working knowledge of grounds maintenance, basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
