Sr Commercial HVAC Technician

Job Title

Field Service Technician – On‑Site (5 days) with on‑call and overtime availability.

• Coordinate with the team leader/project manager and the customer to understand requirements for on‑site installation and repairs, forecasting potential issues and gathering necessary materials.
• Represent the company as the direct customer contact, ensuring product and equipment compliance and customer satisfaction during diagnosis, repair, and maintenance at the customer’s location.
• Use cutting‑edge software, technology, and a variety of hand tools to follow blueprints or engineering specifications for diagnosing and repairing units.
• Work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as required by the business.
• Enforce safety to the highest standards and keep security and accountability of company‑issued assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

• Safely and legally operate a vehicle with a seat belt.
• Wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness, and safety boots during job duties.
• Twist the trunk of your body 90° in each direction; squat and touch the floor with both hands; reach hands over your head; stand on concrete surfaces for up to 4 hours.
• Lift or move up to 10lbs routinely; frequently lift or move up to 40lbs; occasionally lift or move more than 40lbs. Safely use a ladder with a 375lb. total weight limit, while carrying equipment of 50lbs or less.
• Maneuver confined access areas as small as 30″ vertical x 45″ horizontal; access rooftops with extension or fixed ladders at heights of 15‑20ft, occasionally up to 50ft+.
• Work in variable weather conditions, near moving mechanical parts, at heights, risk of electrical shock, noisy equipment, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.
• Work on‑call rotation and/or overtime to support the business, including occasional overnight stays.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required); typically 5+ years of HVAC experience (preferred).
• Technical school or formal training in HVAC (preferred).
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations, including DUI, Hit & Run, license suspension, reckless or careless driving, or multiple small infractions/ collisions in the past 3 years.
• EPA Certification (required).

Hourly Base Pay Range: $27.69 – $51.49. No incentive or commission applicable.
