The Feed Mill Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the feed mill by maintaining and repairing essential equipment.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and contributing to a team dedicated to excellence in agriculture.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated feed mill equipment, including screw conveyors, bucket belt elevators, drag conveyors, boilers, pellet mills, hammer mills, and VFD drives.
• Utilize welding and fabrication skills, including the use of an oxy-acetylene torch, to maintain and improve equipment.
• Follow and enhance preventive maintenance standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with a team of skilled technicians to ensure optimal mill performance and address operational challenges.

• Experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field (preferred).
• Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to work in a physically active environment and lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math and computer proficiency.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
• Willingness to work 10-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment.
