Service Technician Apprentice

Suburban Propane is seeking a Service Technician Apprentice to support safe, reliable propane service for residential and commercial customers. In this hands-on role, you'll assist experienced technicians with installing and maintaining propane tanks, lines, and related equipment, performing basic troubleshooting, leak checks, and safety inspections. You'll learn to operate tools and service vehicles safely while delivering courteous, customer-focused service. Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, inspection, and maintenance of propane tanks, lines, and related equipment
• Support leak checks, pressure tests, and routine safety inspections
• Accompany senior technicians on service calls to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
• Perform basic troubleshooting on burners, heaters, and small appliances under supervision
• Drive or assist with loading/unloading cylinders and equipment following safety procedures
• Document work performed and maintain accurate service records
• Follow all company, DOT, and safety regulations and use proper PPEProvide courteous customer service and explain basic work performed to customers
• Participate in required training and certifications to build technical skills
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and work areas in clean, safe condition
