Job Type: FULL TIME (>=40 HRS WEEKLY)
Pay Range: $36 /hr on W2.
Responsibilities- Conduct administrative hearings in person or by telephone.
- Question parties and witnesses, create and maintain an official hearing record, and rule on evidentiary matters.
- Control the course of hearings to ensure procedural fairness and efficiency.
- Perform legal research and issue legally accurate, well-reasoned written decisions.
- Explain the hearing process to parties and assist them in effectively navigating that process.
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints related to hearings.
- Follow up to ensure decisions are properly implemented and executed.
- Doctoral Degree (Juris Doctor – JD) is required.
- Candidates submitted without a JD will be automatically denied.
- Strong knowledge of administrative law and hearing procedures.
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage hearings independently and maintain neutrality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
