BFA Middle and High School is seeking a 0.5 FTE Speech-Language Pathologist with expertise in Social Communication. The role involves providing student-centered instruction in Social Cognition to help students improve their social communication, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills essential for school success.

The Social Cognition Instructor works with students individually and in small groups to provide explicit instruction and practice in areas such as social awareness, perspective-taking, self-advocacy, problem-solving, emotional regulation, flexible thinking, and building positive relationships. This position collaborates closely with special educators, related service providers, and classroom teachers; strategies are individualized and integrated across school environments. This role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to collaborate with a dedicated team focused on student support.
