Job Description

Washington Central Unified Union School District has an opening for a .50 FTE Long Term Substitute Speech Language Pathologist to work with learners in grades Pre K-6 within the District. The long term sub position has an anticipated start date of October 29, 2026 and an anticipated end date of January 21, 2027. This position will provide speech/language services to students on EST, 504, and IEP plans, consultation time with teams, conducting screening and some evaluation assessments, and developing and implementing IEP goals.

Knowledgeable of special education regulations, and direct instruction for varied abilities. Must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, administration, students and parents, and outside agencies. Demonstrate the ability to think on their feet, manage multiple tasks, and provide quality instruction in the basic skill areas, as well as case management. Salary: $146.55 to $241.53 Per Day

Job Requirements
  • Applicants must be licensed, or eligible for licensure in the State of Vermont as an Educational Speech Language Pathologist (6-84).  application should include:

    Copy of Vermont Educational SLP license, or evidence of eligibility;
    All transcripts/grade reports;
    Three current letters of reference.
  • At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
  • Master degree preferred.
